Clothing: Kari wears black shorts, and a white top with long sleeves. The sleeves are loose and come down to hide her hands. On the back of the shirt, a kunai is shown, point up, with a rose twining around it(her clan symbol). The rose is a bright red, which matches the ribbon around her neck. She wears shin-protectors, which are also red. She has red, fingerless gloves as well. Her kunai pouch is on her right hip, although she has hidden shuriken under her voluminous sleeves as well. Her headband is worn on her forehead, as usual. She also keeps earplugs on her at all times (see kekkai genkai).

Personality: Kari is generally a happy-go-lucky girl. She's often seen smiling, and when she's not that's BAD. She jokes about almost everything, but can be serious if the situation arises. She keeps her head in battle and hates when people insult her intelligence. She's easy to be around, funny, and often sarcastic. She's respectful to her superiors and gets annoyed when others are not. She gets angry when others are rude to her and her friends. She very protective of the people she loves.

Weakness: Because of her kekkai genkai, her hearing is extra sensitive, and thus loud noises are her downfall. If an abnormally loud noise or sharp bang hits her eardrums, she will be temporarily incapacitated (hands over her ears on the ground and such).

History: When Kari was ten, she overheard her sister and father in an intense fight. With a family of ninjas, her father leading an ANBU squad and her mother a medical ninja, the pressure was on. Her sister had shown adeptness for the ninja way of life since she was young and had prospered. She was Kari's idol, beautiful and skilled, until she suddenly disappeared as Kari was about to graduate from the Academy. Hence forth she has become a missing nin and was shunned by her family. Kari's faith was shot and she became depressed for about two months, consequently failing her graduation exam the first time. She decided to work as hard as possibly to make up for her sister's disappearance.

Extra: She's not used to compliments, having an older sister who was quite the looker. She sees herself as inferior in the looks department, and therefore intensely objects to compliments about her appearance.

Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra. It also teaches the ninja how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will have any jutsu available (theoretically) because they will be able to focus their chakra as needed.

Description: Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance. The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. As soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.


Taijutsu: Kari is very quick and agile because of her smaller size. Her speed is great among the students.

Genjutsu: Kari can't really use genjutsu, or would prefer not to, though she can escape from it.

Kekkai Genkai: Her bloodline limit allows for her hearing to become super sensitive at will. So sensitive that it can hear a human heartbeat within a kilometer radius. This is useful for spying and medical ninjutsu. Hence her mother's profession.

Weapons: The basic shuriken, kunai, paper bombs, senbon. She also tends to carry around a wooden staff that, when activated by her chakra will produce blades at either end. This was a gift from her sister before she left. The wood is reinforced with metal bands about every 10cm or so along the staff. Still, because it is wooden, it is subject to breakage, unless the sword/other blade hits a metal point.

Skills: Kari loves knowing things, even from a young age she was eavesdropping. This has taught her to be very stealthy and conceal her presence well. Her kekkai genkai helps.
